Spring Break Camp

With schools closing for Spring Break on March 13, some parents ? particularly working parents ? are wondering what to do with their children during this time. Known for its before and after school programs, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is offering a solution. The nonprofit organization?s one-week ?Spring Break Camp" combines the fun of camp with its mission to help youth ? especially the most vulnerable ? reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

Spring Break Camp is Monday, March 13 through Friday, March 17, 2023, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration is now available at all 13 Boys & Girls Clubs locations. Youth, ages 6 to 18, can enroll and attend camp every day or select days during the week.

Spring Break Camps will feature distinct themes at each of the 13 Clubhouses. For example, there will be a Glee Camp at the John D. "Jackie" Gaughan Club, STEM Camp at the Southern Highlands Club, Performing Arts Camp at the Mary & Sam Boyd Club, and Health & Wellness Camp at the Natalie Gulbis Club.

Youth can participate in programming based the Clubhouse theme plus other fun activities, including performing arts, sports and recreation, e-sports and gaming, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) projects, and more. Programming is designed to give youth a well-balanced week to keep their minds sharp and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. Breakfast and lunch are served at select Clubs and included in the camp cost.

The special camp provides the perfect opportunity for new families and youth to learn what Boys & Girls Clubs offer at no cost to them, with the Spring Break Camp and 2023 annual Club membership fees waived for new members. This promotion is valid through March 17. Restrictions apply.
